Tracy McBroom Communications
Tracy has more than 10 years of experience in managing public relations strategies and getting the right message delivered to the right audience.
She uses her expertise and knowledge to plan thoughtful and strategic public and community relations campaigns, event coordination, marketing plans, and coordination of collateral development for clients such as B&W Y-12 National Security Complex, Downtown Knoxville, the Knox County First Day Festival, the Knoxville Family Justice Center, Merit Construction, and the Utilities Management Federation.
Prior to joining SRW & Associates, she served as an Account Executive for The Ingram Group public affairs firm where she worked with a variety of clients helping them with their communications and event management needs. She also served as Communications Coordinator for the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership for three years where she was responsible for media relations, as well as the development of all collateral materials including newsletters, web sites, brochures, invitations, and directories.
Tracy serves on several boards and committees, including CASA of East Tennessee, the Tennessee Literacy Coalition, the Young Professionals of Knoxville, and the Junior League of Knoxville.
A Knoxville native, she holds a master’s degree in Public Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from the University of Tennessee. In her free time, she and her husband Tim enjoy traveling to both new and familiar places, trying new restaurants and recipes. Tracy’s a life-long learner, and has taken classes in oil and acrylic painting, forensic anthropology, investing, golf, and anatomy in the past three years.
