East Tennessee Quality Growth Conference
SRW & Associates led community advocates and elected officials in planning and producing the inaugural East Tennessee Growth Conference held on March 31, 2007 in Knoxville. The conference included expert presentations, panel discussions, and breakout sessions focusing on planned growth for rural and urban communities. The conference was attended by more than 500 representatives from local, state and national government entities, along with developers, architects, engineers and community leaders.
Knox County First Day Festival, presented by Comcast
SRW & Associates has coordinated the production of the Knox County Mayor’s First Day Festival, presented by Comcast for the past five years. It has grown from some 2,000 attendees and less than 50 exhibitors the first year to 10,000 attendees and 80+ exhibitors in 2007. SRW & Associates handles all event logistics, promotion, and sponsorship development for the event. The event features exhibitors from local organizations and business, educational activities, games, entertainment from community groups and organizations, and a concert from a nationally-known artist.
Kenny Chesney in Neyland Stadium, Outdoor Festival
Susan Williams was hired by the Messina Group out of Texas to produce a street festival in connection with the Kenny Chesney in Neyland Stadium concert. She coordinated the entire festival with sponsors, food vendors, entertainment, and retail. 60,000 Kenny Chesney fans attended the event.
